A garage will be obsolete
With the advent of self-driving cars, we will see entire urban areas moving towards more pedestrianised streets.
Houses will no longer have garages dedicated to storing these rapidly depreciating “assets” that are parked for more than 95% of their usable lifespan.
Neighbourhoods with high a Walkability Index will become desirable.
Houses that already have garages will be converted into offices or extra living space.
Just because something seems normal right now, doesn’t mean it will be normal in 50 years.
