Today I finished reading “The Art of Computer Programming: Volume 3: Sorting and Searching” by Donald Ervin Knuth
Aaannddd… I’m done.
All three volumes of a series of programming books that I am sure people will describe as “classic.”
This volume took me a long time to work my way through. I think I read about 30 other books in parallel whilst I was doing all the examples.
I have read every book in this series cover-to-cover.
And I have implemented all but two of the algorithms in BASIC, 6502 and Z80.
Please God, don’t let there be a fourth volume.
